Meet Luminita Vranceanu, a content creator and brand advisor based in Dubai. She creates beautiful and awe-inspiring content and shares it with her audience. Read on to find out more about her work and journey!
What did you do in college?
During college I studied Philology – I’ve always been attracted to foreign languages. I continued with Tourism Management at Uni and both helped me a lot on so many levels. I think it is so important to find a subject you are truly passionate about and study it deeply to then turn in into a career.
What are the things that matter to you the most?
Without any doubt, my family. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. I think I have the most amazing parents and two sisters – most of my friends are telling me I have the best parents in the world! Regardless of what life threw at us, regardless of me living abroad, we’ve always been strong together and their love and support has always been unconditional.
What does a typical day in your week look like?
I am not a morning person but I usually try to wake up around 8ish. Every day starts with breakfast for me, otherwise, I am not functional. Once the green tea kicks in, I become the most energetic person. Between reading a book for minimum half an hour, checking/replying e-mails and messages, following up with different ongoing campaigns and an hour walk (daily routine) I sometimes don’t realise it’s past midday already. After lunch it’s usually when I schedule different meetings or get ready for a shoot, depending on the day. Evenings usually find me either home, I quite enjoy cooking – nothing fancy though, the avocado on toast kind of thing, attending an event or out in one of my fav restaurants. I try to balance it all. Then it all changes if I travel – I wake up at 6 AM and till 8 PM it’s picture, picture, picture! I’m never tired of creating content, it gives me so much energy.
Are there key people or books that have moulded you?
I read a lot and one of the books that influenced me the most is ‘The 7 habits of highly effective people’ by Stephen R. Covey. I couldn’t recommend it more! I will actually start a book club on my IG page soon, so stay tuned.
How has your experience been in building your community online?
I am lucky to have built such an amazing community. It all started as a fun game of posting personal pictures of my travels and outfits but before I knew it, it turned into a job. My account was hacked a couple of years ago but most of my followers came back in such a short time! Again I am very lucky and I appreciate a lot their support. I always do my best to answer their messages, to only introduce them to products and services which I am sure they will love and to share with them as much as I can on a daily basis.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I will continue in the same direction, Social Media and Marketing are such dynamic and complex subjects. I am currently working on some projects which I will share with all of you soon.
