Meet Kaitlin Coyne, a lifestyle and fashion content creator based in Queensland, Australia. Kaitlin used to model in her younger days and is now creating social content and working with brands. She also has a passion for business and travel that she shares with her audience. Read on to find out more about her lifestyle and journey!
What did you do in university?
I haven’t been to university, but I have recently completed a cert III in community pharmacy.
What are the things that matter to you the most?
My family, my friends and my furr child (dog).
What does a typical day in your week look like?
Since being restricted to the house and the grocery shop, I usually get up around 7 am. I have a well-deserved cup of coffee and go for a walk with my dog. I’ll have breakfast, do emails and work all day, then in the afternoon I’ll do a workout and cook dinner for myself and my partner. Very chill days lately!
Are there key people or books that have moulded you?
When I did a lot of modelling in my younger teens (15-18) I met a lot of wonderful girls that I looked up to a lot and aspired to be like, and I kept in contact with them and found myself taking a similar path to them! Which I am forever grateful for.
Tell us something we don’t know about the creator’s work?
It’s a LOT of hustling, and there is so much more to it than taking a “pretty” or “aesthetic” photo. After spending hours putting makeup on and styling our hair, we generally put together anywhere between 5-20 outfits each content day from multiple companies. We then spend time adventuring around to find beautiful locations for each outfit, finding good lighting, making sure the camera settings are right, taking bulk photos to get the right shot! Then the editing process is one of the most fun parts!
How has your experience been in building your community online?
It’s been a fantastic experience. I’ve met so many amazing girls and lifelong friends through the platform that I’ve had the pleasure to meet & network with at collaboration shoots and brand events. Being able to grow a community through doing what I love is the best feeling, I love being able to have a positive impact on someone’s life and help them wherever I can.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I hope to be able to continue creating content for companies and travel as a part of that. I would also love to keep growing my social platforms to a larger scale, to the point where I can start a business of some sort!
