What did you do in university?
I studied Business Administration & Information Technology and have an Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA).
What are the things that matter to you the most?
I have always been an animal lover which is a huge part of why I’m vegan. So my deep purpose of why I’m doing what I do on social media, inspiring towards eating more plants, is because of the compassion I feel for the animals. My family is always close to my heart! Pontus, who is my best friend and soulmate, means the world to me. I would not be where I am today if I wouldn’t have him by my side supporting.
What does a typical day in your week look like?
I usually wake up 6:30 am and have a 3h long morning routine (workout, shower and breakfast). I usually start my “workday” 10 am by answering some emails and DMs on Instagram. Rest of the day depends, some days I produce recipes for my recipe app and some days I do YouTube vlogs or have meetings. Usually our lunches and dinners consist of future recipes or recipe experiments. My workday sometimes finishes early 5pm or sometimes late at 9pm. I always make sure to wind down though! Either taking a walk, do yoga, stretching or watch a movie. I usually go to sleep at 10 pm.
Are there key people or books that have moulded you?
I use Audible a lot. So listening to books always give me other perspectives on life. The books can be about gut health, nutrition, self empowerment and business. I strive to be the best version of myself!
Tell us something we don’t know about the creator’s work?
When we see a photo or a video on Instagram or YouTube, we don’t really reflect on what kind of work is behind that. A photo for me is not just something that I snap off. Before I take a photo (or being photographed) I always think about what I want to say with that photo, the purpose and what value will it give people. I ask myself, does the location, clothes and face fit this purpose? Then of course the caption will make the purpose/value even stronger.
Another thing is about my food videos (I only speak for myself), it looks like I’m in a kitchen and has everything in order where my food is on point. Well that’s not always the case! We shoot a one hour video which later becomes a 40 second video. So in other words, I only pick the good parts and make it look effortless in editing 🙂
How has your experience been building Fivesec Health community and what is?
The most rewarding is to hear all the life changing stories that have accrued to people. It’s so satisfying to help people and make it easier for people to eat more plants and make the world a better place.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I most definitely help people in some way. I probably spend a lot of time in warm countries involved in different charity projects that align with my values and passion.
