Nature’s Superfoods began in 2005 when the owners have been living in Peru for two years as a team of social work volunteers from Singapore. They were invited to join the locals for lunch and discovered ingredients such as quinoa which was a staple in their delicacies. That sparked their exploration of Peruvian foods and cooking. They were inspired to introduce Andean superfoods to Singapore and the brand was born.
At Nature’s Superfoods, they believe in building lasting good health through 100% natural, organic and nutrient-rich whole foods. They chose the name ‘superfoods’ as these refer to foods abundant with nutrition and health-protecting benefits, which fit perfectly with our commitment to offer our clients nature’s best sources of nutrition.
They are also constantly looking for the highest quality, least processed and most natural organic foods available from their countries of origin, and we seek to bring them to you at the best possible price and value. Much effort is poured into the sourcing and verification of these products so that you are able to consume good-quality organic foods on a daily basis without burning a hole in your pocket.
They also support organic growers/ farmers through our commitment to promote foods of sustainable agriculture and by expanding the market for organic food products.
They believe in contributing to social development and promoting social entrepreneurship, especially among underprivileged children and youths. To promote this cause, we have entered into a cooperation agreement with Generation ACTS Club International to help develop social entrepreneurship and volunteerism in its project countries.
